Hi Sophie – I’m glad to see a new post. Stumbled across your blog doing some Mardi Gras party planning a few months ago and truly enjoy it. I keep your site bookmarked and every so often click on it and then pick a month and read and daydream about the amazing places you’ve been and people you’ve met.
In truth I have not read but a fraction of your whole blog, but your perspective and writing style have a haunting quality that touches something in my heart, Being an engineer by trade, I do not have the ability to communicate with the written word as you do. But I know elevated and graceful writing when I read it and am drawn to it.
Anyway, thanks for making my life a bit richer and fuller.
Paul
