The lovely lady traveler, Charish, of Rollerbag Goddess Global Communications invited me to write for her blog a few years ago. I was delighted to pen this essay on a 2016 trip to Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand, which she featured. I realized I had never posted the entire essay on my site, so here it is dear readers!:

Misadventure and delight in a sleepy Thai fishing village 

Enjoy my romp with monkeys and scooter-driving misadventures, and my hilarious and delightful friendship with the elderly hostel-owners who took me under their wing. There’s a nod to Patrick in this piece as well, who I had only been dating a few months before I went to Thailand. I’m marrying that hunk in a few weeks, and it’s fun to re-read how he impacted my life back then, even when he wasn’t traveling with me.
